Guidelines:
Intention (Niyyah): Have a sincere intention to seek Allah's protection for yourself, your family, or your loved ones.
Cleanliness (Taharat): Be in a state of wudu (ablution) and choose a clean and quiet place for the wazifa.
Time and Regularity: Perform the wazifa daily, preferably after Fajr or Maghrib salah.
Step-by-Step Wazifa for Protection
1. Begin with Durood Shareef:
Recite Durood-e-Ibrahimi or any other durood 11 times: Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Muhammadin kama sallayta ‘ala Ibraheema wa ‘ala aali Ibraheema innaka hameedum majeed.
2. Recite Ayat-ul-Kursi:
Recite Ayat-ul-Kursi 1 time: Allahu la ilaha illa huwa al-Hayyul-Qayyum... (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255).
This verse is one of the most powerful for protection. It provides a shield against harm when recited with faith.
3. Recite Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas:
Recite Surah Al-Falaq (113) and Surah An-Nas (114) 3 times each.
These two chapters are known as Mu’awwidhatayn (verses of refuge). They protect against evil eye, black magic, and other forms of harm.
4. Recite the Name of Allah (Ya Hafiz):
Recite "Ya Hafiz" (The Protector) 100 times. Reflect on Allah’s attribute of being the ultimate guardian and protector.
5. Recite the Last Two Verses of Surah Al-Baqarah:
Recite the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah (2:285–286) 1 time: Amanar-Rasulu bima unzila ilayhi mir-Rabbihi wal-mu’minun... (till the end).
These verses provide immense protection from all forms of harm.
6. Recite the Special Dua for Protection:
After completing the above, make a heartfelt dua for protection. You can use this powerful dua from the Sunnah:
Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma’asmihi shay’un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama’i wa huwa as-Sami’ul-‘Aleem.(In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or earth can harm, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.)
Recite it 3 times.
7. End with Durood Shareef:
Conclude by reciting Durood-e-Ibrahimi 11 times.
Duration:
Perform this wazifa daily for ongoing protection. It is also recommended to recite it during times of increased danger or vulnerability.
Additional Sunnah Practices for Protection:
Morning and Evening Adhkar: Recite the daily morning and evening adhkar regularly for consistent protection.
Recite Bismillah: Say "Bismillah" before starting any activity, as it brings blessings and protection.
Keep Ayat-ul-Kursi Written or Displayed: Keep Ayat-ul-Kursi in your home or with you as a reminder of Allah's protection.
